CoServ Charitable Foundation

The CoServ Charitable Foundation (CCF) set out in 2004 to make a difference and improve lives in North Texas and beyond. Since then, the organization has awarded over $18 million to nonprofit organizations and education foundations.

CCF grants help fill food pantries, assist with utility bills, buy equipment for first responders, provide a warm meal and give hope to someone escaping human trafficking. CCF has become a critical part of the North Texas nonprofit network, providing funds that help people when they need it most.

Mission: We meet the critical needs of homeless and at-risk children across North Texas by providing necessities including diapers, wipes, hygiene kits, baby food and formula, clothing, school supplies and toys to enhance their lives.

CoServ Charitable Foundation

The CoServ Charitable Foundation (CCF) has two separate funds: Operation Roundup and the Unrestricted Fund.

The majority of the grants CCF funds come from Operation Roundup (ORU), where CoServ Members and Customers roundup their bill to the nearest dollar. ORU funds are awarded to nonprofits within CoServ's service territory so they benefit local organizations in your community.

The Unrestricted Fund is funded by the generosity of CoServ Employees, who donate via payroll deductions. CCF fundraisers, such as the annual golf tournament and clay shoot, also raise money for the Unrestricted Fund. The Unrestricted Fund awards grants to organizations outside CoServ's service territory.

CCF is an independent, nonprofit organization with its own Board of Directors who are appointed by the CoServ Electric Board of Directors. Salaries for CCF administrators and staff are funded entirely by CoServ so that CCF can focus on providing donations, resources and manpower where it can do the most good.
