UPDATE ON MCKINNEY EARLY MORNING DISRUPTION/RESTORATION:
6:45 a.m. - Service has been restored to all but 2 Members.
5:45 a.m. - Crews have restored (through backfeeding power) about 2,400 of the 2,900 originally affected. The remaining 528 are affected by the pole and wire damage in the immediate vicinity of the vehicle accident. Dispatch advises it will be close to an hour (probably 6:45 a.m.) before those Members who remain without power will be restored. Crews are working as quickly and safely as possible but we understand the damage was significant. We appreciate your patience
5:00 a.m. - About 2,900 McKinney Members served by a circuit affected out of our Custer substation are without power. Crews dispatched and en route already to assess. Meanwhile, Dispatch advises that a vehicle struck a utility pole at Custer and Big Horn. Crews will cooperate with first responders and assess and repair as soon as possible.
We recognize this circuit has been affected a few times recently - mostly due to adverse weather - and we apologize for the inconvenience.
