COSERV GAS CUSTOMERS: Just a reminder that your April or early May statement will include a line item for the Annual Pipeline Safety Fee. This $1 fee is charged once per year to all gas customers and is required by the Railroad Commission of Texas.  The fee is for the administration of the pipeline safety program per Texas Utilities Code, Rule §8.201: http://ow.ly/voeck.

 

UPDATE: Service was restored for the 10 Members north of Little Elm in the Valencia subdivision at 2:50 P.M. Disruption was caused by a construction crew backing into one of our poles. We appreciate your patience.

CURRENT OUTAGE: At 1:16 p.m. on 4/24/14, 10 Members in the Valencia subdivision, north of Little Elm, experienced a disruption of their electric service.   Our crews are working to determine the cause and will restore as soon as possible.  We are sorry for the inconvenience.

  

IMPORTANT SCAM ALERT: On Monday, March 31, a CoServ Commercial Member in McKinney received a call from 800-293-5195 demanding immediate payment of $1,800 to avoid disconnection. The Member had made his payment, but the caller said it didn't process because of a computer glitch. The caller sounded believable, the Member told us, until he said that the only acceptable form of payment was a prepaid debit card. CoServ offers eight ways to pay your bill, but none of them involve prepaid cards. 800-293-5195 is NOT a CoServ number, and we do not make threatening phone calls like this!
