As you go about your daily life, you probably don’t worry too much about whether your natural gas service is safe – and that’s exactly what we want. At CoServ Gas, we pay extra-close attention to the safety of our distribution systems … all so you can spend less time being concerned about potential dangers and more time enjoying the benefits of using natural gas.

Here’s why you can rest easy:

• CoServ Gas is a young company, so our system uses modern, up-to-date equipment that surpasses safety standards.
• We’re one of the few gas companies in the country to voluntarily install “excess flow valves.” These devices limit gas flow if the line becomes damaged. Federal regulations will soon require all companies to use them, but we already do.
• We regularly inspect and maintain our gas lines.
• We immediately repair all known leaks.

As you can see, we definitely do our part to keep you safe. However, CoServ Gas still counts on you to let us know about leaks. Remember this rule: If you smell gas, leave the area right away, and call 911 or our 24-hour emergency line, (940) 321-7800 or (800) 274-4014.
