CoServ Electric Advocates
Our friends at Rural Friends / ACRE, the Action Committee for Rural Electrification, defend electric cooperative members and employees every day. Supported through CoServ Employee contributions, this nonpartisan political action committee represents interests of electric co-ops and their members and employees.
When representatives travel to visit legislators in local district offices, Austin or Washington, DC., they speak about how potential laws would affect co-op members. They truly put co-op interests first. And, because of the support of Rural Friends/ACRE, countless laws have been passed that favor electric co-op members.
The ACRE group, along with co-op leaders across the nation, recently visited Washington on your behalf to educate lawmakers that hasty climate change regulation or legislation could significantly raise energy costs.
To continue promoting policies that protect electric cooperatives, Rural Friends/ACRE needs the support of members like you. If you would like to enroll in and contribute to the program, print out, complete and mail this form.
