CoServ accepting donations to COVID-19 Relief Fund to help Members and Customers

CORINTH, Texas – April 15, 2020 – CoServ today announced the launch of an online donation form that will allow CoServ Members and Customers to assist their neighbors affected financially by the COVID-19 pandemic.

"CoServ has always partnered with the communities we serve,” said Denise Smithers, CoServ’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Relations. “So it makes sense to give our Members and Customers the opportunity to help their neighbors.”

Working through the CoServ Charitable Foundation (CCF), CoServ on April 6 designated $200,000 for the CCF COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund, which will be distributed through seven social service agencies in North Texas: Texoma Council of Governments, Texas Neighborhood Services, Allen Community Outreach, Christian Community Action, Community Lifeline Center, Frisco Family Services, and Volunteers in Service to Others (VISTO).

“These agencies assist our Members and Customers during normal times, and they are playing a crucial role during this especially challenging time,” Denise said.

CoServ Members and Customers who are interested in making a contribution are encouraged to log in to their SmartHub account on CoServ.com to access the secure online donation form.

“Our Members, Customers and communities are part of the CoServ Family,” Denise said. “And during a crisis, we do what all families do: We rally around each other.”
