CORINTH, Texas – January 19, 2021—In the first grant designations since the COVID-19 pandemic began, the CoServ Charitable Foundation (CCF) plans to distribute $392,849 to 21 North Texas nonprofits that provide basic human needs. CCF also has designated $100,000 to the CCF COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund, bringing the total allocated to that effort since April 2020 to more than a half-million dollars.

North Texas experienced remarkable growth in 2020, and this kept CoServ’s Construction Management Team busy: CoServ’s combined electric and gas meter count surged past 400,000 in 2020. In October, CoServ had already added more electric meters than in all of 2019 and, by year’s end, on pace for a record number of electric meters set; CoServ Gas was on pace to add 7,000 meters in 2020, about the same as in 2019.
