CoServ's blood drive collects enough blood to save 162 lives

CoServ's blood drive collects enough blood to save 162 lives

CoServ’s fourth blood drive collected 54 units of blood on October 1, enough to help up to 162 people.

The majority of the donors who participated were CoServ Employees with others coming from our partner, the Lake Cities Chamber of Commerce, including 21 first-time donors.

“Thank you to all the CoServ Employees, Lake Cities Chamber of Commerce members and people from the community who took time out of their busy schedules to donate blood in this critical time for the American Red Cross,” said Jennifer Ebert, CoServ’s Community Engagement Specialist. “These donations will make a difference and ultimately save lives.”

At the time of the blood drive, the American Red Cross reported having enough blood supply on the shelf in North Texas to last 24 hours or less.

CoServ hosted the blood drive in its newly remodeled Independence Room on the first floor of its headquarters in Corinth.

The American Red Cross is already taking registrations for the next CoServ blood drive, April 8, 2022 at CoServ headquarters. Reserve your time slot today and help us continue to save more lives
