Over the past two decades, CoServ has assisted about a dozen electric cooperatives in need - most recently in 2018, during an ice storm that impacted three North Texas counties and in 2017, when CoServ sent crews to South Texas after Hurricane Harvey and Florida after Hurricane Irma.

ANDREWS COUNTY, Texas —January 30, 2020— A ribbon cutting today in West Texas made it official: The 100-megawatt Lapetus Solar Project is up and running, and CoServ has begun purchasing electricity from it.
2019 was a huge year for the CoServ Charitable Foundation, which approved nearly $1.5 million in grants. The organzation has approved more than $12 million since it started in 2004.
The CoServ Charitable Foundation has distributed two grants that will benefit children and teenagers in Lake Dallas.
