CoServ received the 2019 Award of Excellence from the Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce at the 57th annual awards gala Feb. 7. The award recognizes CoServ for its commitment to the communities of Denton County and the Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce.
The CoServ Charitable Foundation had a busy year in Lewisville last year. A few of the organizations that received grants in that community in 2019 included the Lewisville Education Foundation ($25,000), the Lewisville ISD Special Olympics ($9,000) and the Lewisville New Hope Center ($12,000).
At the Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce awards gala, CoServ also sponsored the Educator of the Year award, which went to Carolyn Pedrazine, an English as a Second Language teacher at the Harmon High 9th and 10th Grade Campus in Lewisville ISD.
In January, CoServ was also named the Business of the Year for 2019 by the Little Elm Chamber of Commerce for its commitment to that community.
