The Little Elm Chamber of Commerce has recognized CoServ as Business of the Year for 2019.
From academic initiatives and electric arcing demonstrations at schools to first responder safety training and feeding volunteers from our Snackin’ Wagon, CoServ has been a consistent community partner throughout the year.
Jennifer Gibson-Elliott, Community Support Specialist for CoServ who attended the Little Elm Chamber Awards Luncheon on January 16, said the collective efforts of CoServ Employees, Members and Customers made the honor possible.
“We are blessed and grateful to receive this honor,” Jennifer said. “We value our partnership with this outstanding community and it's because of the hard work of our Employees that we've been able to support the Town of Little Elm. Thank you again, Little Elm Chamber, for this prestigious award."
Jennifer also thanked CoServ Electric Members and Gas Customers for their contributions to the CoServ Charitable Foundation through Operation Roundup.
"We also want to say thank you to all our Members who participate in Operation Roundup," Jennifer said. "It is because of your generous donation of rounding your bill up to the next dollar that we have given back more than $193,000 in grants to support the community of Little Elm."
In addition to the award, CoServ received proclamations from State Senator Jane Nelson and State Representative Jared Patterson.
