Scholarships give future leaders head start on college

CoServ’s $5,000 scholarship is more than just a check we write – it symbolizes our investment and belief in an individual to reach their full potential.

The academic initiative is led by Whitney Gohlke, a former teacher and CoServ’s Manager of Academic Initiatives.

“We are excited to see what these talented, driven students will do as they move on to higher education,” Whitney said. “Awarding these scholarships is one of the best examples of CoServ investing in tomorrow. These young men and women will be tomorrow’s leaders in whatever career path they pursue. We’re proud to play a small role in helping them on their journey.”

This year, CoServ also donated laptops to the scholarship recipients to ensure they have everything they need to succeed. Each student received a refurbished CoServ laptop, a mouse, headphones, and a laptop bag.

“The majority of the equipment that comes back to us is in good working order, so we’re glad to be in a position where we can donate these to hard-working students,” said Conan Tearney, CoServ’s Client Services Manager. “It’s always good to give back, and it’s always good to find opportunities where we can do more than our Monday through Friday job.”
