Imagine having an ownership stake in your electric company where you can elect a Board of Director to represent you, your bill is always clear and transparent, and you never have to shop around for electricity.

When you’re a Member of CoServ, you don’t have to imagine, because this is how we do business every day, serving North Texans for 89 years.

Every October, co-ops across the country celebrate National Co-op Month, recognizing a business model built on local ownership, democratic governance, and service in their communities they serve. At CoServ, those principles guide everything we do year-round.

We put you first. We’re reliable and affordable. Instead of being a customer, you’re a Member-owner and you have a voice in your cooperative’s future.

The cooperative commitment extends beyond providing reliable electricity. You can round your bill up to the nearest dollar to donate to the CoServ Charitable Foundation that funds grants to nonprofit organizations in your neighborhood.

Instead of returning the margins to shareholders, as for-profit utilities do, the democratically elected Board of Directors votes to retire them back to you as a Capital Credits.

Whether you just moved in or have been here for decades, you’re part of something bigger. We have more than 600 Employees dedicated to providing you with exceptional electric service while helping to strengthen the communities we serve.

As we celebrate National Co-op Month, we’re proud to be part of a cooperative tradition that puts people before profits and communities before shareholders. Thank you for being a CoServ Member and for helping make our cooperative stronger for generations to come.

The cooperative difference isn’t just something we talk about, it’s something Members experience. Here’s what a few of them had to say in recent Google Reviews.

Camille, Sanger

“CoServ is the best and has the best customer service that I have ever had experience with. From power outages, that really go un-noticed because the community is taken care of that fast. To pre maintenance of your trees, … to calls about your solar panels and giving you reputable companies they recommend that give good service. So, thank you Cheryl for help recently.”

Frank, Celina

“I am a new resident of Celina and since my English is not very strong, I was a bit nervous. However, the Customer Service Representative was incredibly helpful! They took the initiative to connect me with an interpreter and remained very patient throughout the entire process. They also explained the charges in great detail. I am so grateful for the excellent service!”

Debbie, Prosper

“Fabulous Customer Service! No wait time. Caring and professional people. All my needs taken care of in seconds!”

Anburaja, Northlake

“I’ve been a CoServ Member for almost four years now. Their Customer Service is excellent. They always communicate if there are any outages in the area and I’ve never had any issues.”
