A Season of Gratitude

As 2026 comes to a close, it’s a good time to reflect on a year that’s been full of growth, service, and community impact. None of this would be possible without the trust and support of our Members. As a member-owned cooperative, every decision we make starts with a commitment to serving you.

Looking back on this year, we’ve added over 10,000 electric meters to our service area. That growth is a sign of a thriving region, and we are meeting those needs through continued investments in our system, our Employees, and the communities we serve. We also plan to break ground on the first substation that we will build, maintain, and own ourselves, further improving reliability for Members. In addition, we remain one of the most reliable utilities in the state, with a 99.99% reliability score and an award-winning customer care* team.

We also believe in being transparent with our Members. For more than 25 years, CoServ has worked to keep costs as low as possible while continuing to invest in reliability and service. However, rising costs have made a rate adjustment necessary.

Effective Dec. 1, CoServ’s first rate increase since 2001 will increase the Customer Charge by $5 for most residential Members. This adjustment will help us maintain the reliable service Members depend on and prepare for future growth. Because CoServ is Member-owned, not shareholder-driven, this increase is not about profit. It is about ensuring we can continue delivering safe, reliable, and affordable energy for years to come.

As a cooperative, your Membership is key to our success, and we thank you for your trust and engagement.

On behalf of the Board of Directors and our Employees, thank you for allowing us to serve you. Your Membership is the foundation of CoServ’s success, and we remain grateful for the opportunity to serve you each day.

Happy Holidays!
