Notice of Reduction to the 2025 Gas Interim Rate Adjustment

What's Changing & Why

CoServ Gas has filed an application to reduce its previously approved 2025 Interim Rate Adjustment effective January 1, 2026, with the Railroad Commission of Texas. The application reflects a reduction to the Interim Rate Adjustment charge, which appears as a fixed monthly charge on customers’ bills. Residential customers will see a decrease of $1.14/month, and non-residential customers will see a decrease of $1.91/month. Your total bill may vary depending on usage and other charges.

Additionally, on July bills, a one-time refund credit will be applied to then active accounts for the amount charged in excess of the reduced IRA rates, plus interest at the 4.34% rate for calendar year 2026 adopted by the Public Utility Commission of Texas.
