What to expect on your August bill

July 2026 was hotter than normal with 10 100 degree days, which means CoServ Members likely used more electricity.

This month, we dig into the final part of electricity’s journey, the CoServ distribution system. The costs are 25 to 30% of your bill.

Your Capital Credit will appear as a credit on your August bill and it represents one of the greatest benefits of being a CoServ Member.

The substation is where high-voltage electricity is safely reduced to a lower voltage so it can travel through CoServ’s poles and wires.

CoServ Gas was founded with the same mission and vision as the electric cooperative including our dedication to training and safety.
