CoServ collects 63 units at 12th blood drive

On Sept. 3, CoServ’s 12th annual American Red Cross blood drive drew dozens of first-time donors to our headquarters in Corinth.

The American Red Cross collected 63 units of blood, enough to potentially help more than 180 patients. The donors included CoServ Employees and the public, including businesses from the Lake Cities Chamber of Commerce. Of the donors, 38% were first-time donors.

The total units collected increased by 47% from the last blood drive in February.

This latest blood drive brings the grand total of units of blood collected to 746 since 2020.

“Over the last five years and 12 blood drives, CoServ Employees, the Lake Cities Chamber of Commerce and the public have donated enough blood to make a difference for thousands of people in critical need,” said Walker Sims, CoServ Community Events Specialist. “We thank everyone who took time out of their day to help save lives!”
